A Fresh Start: Sheprow Administration Releases First 100 Days Report

Port Jefferson, NY, November 7, 2023 — Mayor Lauren Sheprow today announced the release of “The First 100 Days: Transforming Promises into Policy” – a report on policy accomplishments that were informed by ongoing conversations she has had with residents, since the swearing-in ceremony on July 4, 2023.

Sheprow calls the “The First 100 Days” a “status report” to our Village residents, as it focuses on policies that were adopted as a direct result of their input. Highlights from the report appear in a two-page spread in the November 2nd issue of The Port Times Record. The full report will be available on the official Village website, at www.portjeff.com/first100days.

“One of Port Jefferson’s greatest resources is its residents,” said Sheprow. “They’re intelligent, informed and passionate about doing what’s best for our community. Their priorities formed the blueprint we’re using to help get Port Jeff back on track.”
